New purchases

When I'm not buying modern clothing, I'm out at the local antique mall buying vintage! Vintage, especially 20's and mid-century modern, is my thing. My entire room is built around vintage finds and precious tokens from grandparents. So, It's no secret that I love old objects and clothing. Today was one of those happy days where I had some time to go to old down town to the Antique store. I felt the need to document my finds on this day in particular because I am quite fond of these few items.

All I need is the air that I breathe

I have been listening to The Hollies for the past hour and decided that they are definitely one of my favorite bands. I have to say that All I need is my most favorite song. So, I thought I'd devote a look to it, and here it is. :)

Dr Pepper. More Than Just A Soda.

Dr Pepper might not be the most widely known soda, but amongst my family and family friends, it's the only soda for us. My mom was the first to discover Dr Pepper when she was a teen. When she married my dad she also introduced him to Dr Pepper. That is how the Dr Pepper tradition was born. With the dawn of each child the Dr Pepper trend was spread on to more and more people around town. We even had a dog that would steal your Dr Pepper if it was left in a glass. So, I would say we, as a family, are a great example of the slogan, "I'm a Pepper."
Since Dr pepper is such a big deal in my family, it's no shock that I have some Dr Pepper memorabilia which lead me to my most recent photoshoot for Lookbook.nu.

Vintage Inspiration Board

I'm off to shoot a vintage inspired look today for lookbook.nu, and I'm trying to stock up on all of the inspiration I can come up with. I'm going with a bit of a 60's style look, so most of what I'll be showing here will be 60's inspired fashion photography (not my own)  that I have amassed on my Pintrest over the past year or so. :P

I'm so excited about the fashion forecast for fall. Quite a while back I predicted that the new "year" trend was going to be the 60's with a twinge of the 20's. Lo and behold, Louis Vuitton fall collection proved my intuition right! :P I love vintage so much, especially the twenties through the early seventies. So this fall, is right up my alley, style wise.

A few things I would love to have in my closet
